Armored car driver robbery

GWINNETT COUNTY Ga: More information is coming to light about the daring morning robbery of an armored car driver at a Wells Fargo Bank in the Centerville/Snellville area on Centerville Highway. Around 9 a.m. today, a Loomis armored car driver was unloading his truck to service an outside ATM.

The Loomis employee was approached from behind by a man who held a semi-automatic weapon to the worker's head.

The FBI is handling this case. Anyone with any information to share with the FBI is urged to call 404-679-9000.

Good grief, another one?????????? Not to be flippant, but we said that they were asking for trouble not keeping paid police officers there. Even if the last robbers got arrested, the bank is viewed as robbable. (Is that a word?) It makes me feel very unsafe going up there--that's where we shop all of the time (when, of course, we're not in Snellvlile).

Armed robbers hit Centerville Wachovia branch
Suspects believed to be wigged bandits from other robberies
Officials believe the wigged bank robbers struck again Wednesday, and one bank is offering a hefty reward for information leading to their arrest.

Where are the police, when they are needed?

lol Anonymous...there are 18,000+ people in Snellville. Are they supposed to assign one police officer to each person or family? Are you prepared to pay for that? Armored car drivers are armed themselves. If the armored car driver had called police and asked for coverage while he stocked the machine, I'm sure the Snellville Police Department would have been glad to oblige if they were able to do so.
