In the latest robbery, two gunmen entered the Dollar General on Henry Clower Boulevard about 8:40 a.m. Tuesday. They ordered three customers and two employees to the floor.
"They took the manager at gunpoint and forced him to empty the contents of the store safe and the cash drawers into a purse they took from an elderly woman who was in the store," Washburn said, adding that the robbers fled with about $500.
