The argument escalated when they got home, police said. And about 1:30 p.m., the son pulled a gun and fired a shot that grazed his mom in the arm and struck his dad in the abdomen, police said.
Fredrick B. Rogers, 49, died a short time later at Gwinnett Medical Center. Sarah Rogers, 47, was treated and released.
Fredrick L. Rogers, 24, is being held without bond on charges of murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
