Felony Hit and Run Suspect Wanted in Virginia Arrested in Snellville GA

A Snellville police officer saw a vehicle at the Quik Trip on Scenic Highway that had a headlight violation. The officer was able to stop the vehicle near Pharrs Road. The driver had a State of Virginia driver's license. When the driver's license was checked against the computer database, it was found that the man was wanted in Virginia for felony hit and run. Virginia authorities advised that they would extradite the man. The man was arrested on the Virginia warrant and charged with driving on suspended license. He was taken to the Gwinnett County Jail to await extradition to Virginia.
