Officer Collins of the Snellville Police Department stopped a pickup truck for a tag and window tint violation. The driver had a suspended license for controlled substances and an active warrant for probation violation.
He asked the driver to step from the vehicle and observed marijuana residue on the floor of the vehicle. Officer Collins and his K-9 partner, Bart conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle. Bart gave an indication for
the presence of narcotic odor. Officer Collins located a small quantity of marijuana and charged the driver with a misdemeanor drug offense, the traffic violations and the felony probation warrant from Barrow County;
