A Snellville Police officer stopped a vehicle for window tint violation. The officer observed several criminal indicators from both the driver and the front passenger. Another officer arrived to assist in searching the vehicle and the driver consented to the search. He observed multiple criminal indicators from both the driver and the front seat passenger.
During the search of the vehicle, officers found several used and unused needles. The driver had about 2 grams of powdered cocaine in his pocket. Officers seized 2 handguns and a machine gun.
The driver was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug-related objects, and possession of a firearm while in possession of illegal narcotics.
The passenger was charged with prohibited weapons and beverage. The suspects were transported to Gwinnett County Jail and the vehicle was seized. According to the Snellville Police Department, the investigation is continuing.
