Police make arrest in murder of Snellville woman

Police have arrested an acquaintance of murder victim Eva May Francis of Snellville in connection with her death.

Damion Barton, age 31, was arrested on a charge of malice murder. The arrest happened at a home in Conyers sometime during the weekend. Police said Barton was an acquaintance of the family, and at one time had lived in the Francis' home on Garnet Way in unincorporated Gwinnett County.
